My Journey

From finance to Chinese medicine

My journey into Chinese Medicine wasn't a conventional one. After earning a degree in Economics and spending over a decade working in the HR department of an investment bank, I realised it was time for a change.

"I was so inspired by Chinese Medicine that I embarked on a three-and-a-half-year degree-level course, earning a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture."

My own search for natural therapies led me to Chinese Medicine. Not only did it resolve my own discomforts, but it also sparked a deep curiosity about this ancient, holistic system of healing.

Working with Children & Families

A special focus on gentle care for all ages

As a mother of three, I naturally gravitated towards also treating children. I believe that when imbalances are corrected early, a child can avoid a lifetime of health struggles. A healthy child is a happy child - more resilient, more able to thrive, and better equipped to reach their full potential. As a parent, I understand how challenging it can be when a child is unwell, and how deeply it affects the entire family.

"I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent adults and children, including those with autism and ADHD."

Many parents find that gentle therapies like moxibustion, aroma point therapy, and tui na can support their child's nervous system, improve relaxation, and promote better emotional regulation. Of course, I don't just treat children - I work with people of all ages, from babies to the elderly. Every patient I meet teaches me something new, and I am constantly learning and evolving as a practitioner.

I absolutely love what I do. My friends often say my face lights up whenever I talk about my work - and they're right! Helping individuals and families feel their best is an incredible privilege, and I feel truly lucky to be on this path.
